UAE to build $27m worth child and maternal health care hospital in Uzbekistan

AKIPRESS.COM - A child and maternal health care hospital will be built in Nukus, capital of the Republic of Karakalpakstan.
The intergovernmental agreement on cooperation between the UAE and Uzbekistan on technical assistance of the Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation in implementation of social projects in Uzbekistan was signed on May 26.
The Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation will provide a $27 million grant for construction of the hospital and its equipment.
The hospital will be built before the end of 2022.
