AKIPRESS.COM - Kyrgyzstan confirmed 356 new coronavirus cases for the past day, the nation-wide operative team for coronavirus containment reported on May 29.
They include 162 new cases in Bishkek, 78 in Chui region, 63 in Osh, 22 in Issyk-Kul reigon, 10 in Osh region, 7 in Naryn region, 6 in Talas region, 5 in Jalal-Abad region, 3 in Batken region.
The total number of confirmed coronavirus cases since March 2020 reached 104,222.
Nine patients died from coronavirus infection for a day, including 6 deaths in Bishkek, 1 in Chu iregion, 1 in Issyk-Kul region, 1 in Batken region.
This is the highest fatalities rate since August 5, 2020, when 11 deaths were registered.
The death toll from coronavirus infection since March 2020 reached 1,797.
