Draft amendments to law on land transformation pass first reading at parliament committee

AKIPRESS.COM - Parliament Committee on Agrarian Policy, Water Resources, Environment and Regional Development passed the first reading of draft amendments to the law on land transformation. The Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic is the sponsor of the bill.
Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Resources Askarbek Janybekov said that the bill provides for the transformation of land where houses were built before 2018.
The costs associated with the provision of infrastructure will be covered by the owner of the transformed private land plots, according to the bill.
