Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan exchange detained citizens

AKIPRESS.COM - Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan exchanged detained citizens, Batken region administration reported.
Residents of Ak-Sai village detained three citizens of Tajikistan this morning, who were on the territory of Tajikistan. They were handed over to law enforcement agencies for investigation of circumstance.
Tajik citizens detained 3 Kyrgyzstanis, who were returning from the alpine pasture through Vorukh village.
The governors of Batken and Sughd regions held phone talks on these incidents and gave tasks to heads of law enforcement agencies to hold a meeting on the ground. Following the meeting, the citizens of Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan were released.
According to preliminary information, 3 Kyrgyz citizens detained in Tajikistan were beaten. They were transported to hospital.
