Health worker who died 2 days after getting coronavirus vaccine in Almaty died of heart attack

AKIPRESS.COM - A health worker fell at home and died two days after getting vaccination against coronavirus in Almaty on April 7. According to preliminary data, the cause of death was ischemic heart disease, Tengrinews.kz reports.
The Almaty Sanitary and Epidemiological Control Department together with the Public Health Department conducted an epidemiological investigation involved specialists. The investigation revealed that the patient got the first dose of Sputnik V vaccine developed in Russia and produced in Karaganda. The woman had a chronic cardiovascular disease.
To find out the cause of death, the Medical and Pharmaceutical Control Department in Almaty and Almaty region conducted surprise checks in medical institutions where the patient turned to.
Cndition of other patients vaccinated with this batch of vaccine is not worsening.
No official deaths from vaccines against coronavirus were registered, the statement said.
