AKIPRESS.COM - Kyrgyzstan confirmed 283 new coronavirus cases for the past day, the nation-wide operative team for coronavirus containment reported on May 12.
These new cases include 158 in Bishkek, 14 in Osh, 75 in Chui region, 3 in Talas region, 10 in Naryn region, 18 in Issyk-Kul region, 5 in Jalal-Abad region.
The total number of confirmed coronavirus cases since March 2020 reached 99,316.
Eight lethal cases linked to coronavirus infection were registered for a day.
Five deaths were registered in Bishkek and 3 in Chui region. The death toll from coronavirus infection since March 2020 reached 1,675.
1,755 patients remain in hospitals.
447 of them are in serious condition and 89 are in critical condition.
2,472 patients are treated from coronavirus infection at home.
