Younger sister of 12yo Madina, who died due to armed border conflict, received penetrating leg wound

AKIPRESS.COM - The younger sister of Madina Rahmatjanova, who died as a result of Kyrgyz-Tajik border conflict, remains in hospital in Bishkek, Vice Chairman of the Cabinet and Minister of Economy Ulukbek Karmyshakov said.
12-year-old Madina died as a result of shooting. She came under fire with her mother when they were running away from their village.
Madina's mother received a severe gunshot wound, her 10-year-old sister received a penetrating wound in her leg.
"I visited them. They said they were wounded when the Tajik side was shooting into civilians from the helicopter. They are recovering now. The bulk of wounded citizens are civilians. Servicemen received various wounds," Karmyshakov said.
48 wounded Kyrgyzstanis remain in hospitals in Bishkek, he said.
