Situation in Batken as of May 7 stable, police say

AKIPRESS.COM - As of May 7 morning, the situation in all districts and villages of Batken region and Kyrgyz-Tajik border is stable, said the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
The bordering villages are under full control of police officers.
Particular attention is paid to public order and security of citizens. Police officers and internal troops and border service employees strengthen security measures and conduct awareness raising conversations with local inhabitants of border villages.
Police and military personnel of internal troops continue to work round the clock.
