"I can't work when someone yells at me:" Deputy Bishkek city mayor quits

AKIPRESS.COM - Aijan Chynybaeva announced quitting as deputy mayor of Bishkek city on her Instagram account on May 4.
"My health condition does not allow me to stay in this role, because my nervous system got shattered in 3 months of Baktybek Kudaibergenov's leadership. I am forced to get treatment," she said.
Chynybaeva said that she left the role because she does not agree with Kudaibergenov's policy and the way he leads. "I can't work when you get yelled at. When the whole mayor's office is afraid of meetings because everyone gets fired. I think it's wrong," she said.
Aijan Chynybaeva was appointed vice mayor of Bishkek on October 29, 2020 overseeing social issues.
