Education Minister visits destroyed schools and kindergartens in Batken region

AKIPRESS.COM - Minister of Education and Science Almazbek Beishenaliev visited the damaged and destroyed educational facilities in Batken and Leilek districts of Batken region as a result of mortar shelling by Tajik troops.
Education Minister Beishenaliev also met with displaced citizens, who are sheltered at several schools now.
Education Minister Beishenaliev visited the school in Maksat village, which was destroyed entirely. Around 300 students study in this school. 20 teachers and 12 technical personnel work there.
Reconstruction of the school will start in the nearest time, the Education Minister said.
"We will try to create all necessary conditions for schoolchildren by start of the the next academic year," the Minister said.
