Over 256 tons of humanitarian aid delivered to Batken region

AKIPRESS.COM - Prime Minister Ulukbek Maripov visited the storehouse of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in Batken region where the humanitarian aid from all parts of the country is brought.
"All humanitarian aid should be delivered to all citizens in need without delays. People demonstrated unity and cohesion, aid is coming from all over the country. People united in such difficult time for Batken region," Prime Minister Maripov said.
According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, 279.881 tons of humanitarian aid were delivered to the storehouse. The aid includes food products, personal hygiene products, clothing, bedding.
256.8 tons of humanitarian aid were already delivered to conflict-affected residents of Batken region. The rest 30 tons remain at the storehouse and will be delivered if needed.
