AKIPRESS.COM - The former Prime Ministers of Kyrgyzstan expressed concerns over escalation of tension on the Kyrgyz-Tajik border leading to numerous losses, injured, destruction of houses and infrastructure.
"We urge the sides for immediate stop of clashes, adoption of joint measures for stabilization of the situation and refrain from any actions that may lead to further escalation of tension," seven ex-Prime Ministers said in their statement.
"All existing problems should be solved exceptionally through talks in the spirit of good neighborly relations, centuries-old friendship and partnership," the said.
