18 injured in Kyrgyz-Tajik border conflict to be airlifted to Bishkek

AKIPRESS.COM - 18 more people, who were injured as a result of the Kyrgyz-Tajik border conflict, will be airlifted to Bishkek, Deputy Minister of Health and Social Development Uluk-Bek Bekturganov told AKIpress.
"The plane is yet to fly to Batken. We will send another medical team comprised of surgeons, anesthesiologists, traumatologists on this plane," Deputy Health Minister Bekturganov said.
25 injured were airlifted to Bishkek from Batken last night. They have gunshot, comminuted, closed, craniocerebral trauma, concussion, fractures. All patients are provided medical assistance, Deputy Minister of Health Aliza Soltonbekova said.
Deputy Minister Soltonbekova has asked citizens to donate their blood for those injured as a result of the border conflict.
