Situation on Kyrgyz-Tajik border under control, Kyrgyz Interior Ministry says

AKIPRESS.COM - Batken region authorities and police forces are on high alert in connection with Kyrgyz-Tajik border tension, the Interior Ministry's press service said.
Police forces protect public order, the situation is under control, the Interior Ministry said.
When asked if leadership of the Interior Ministry plan to travel to Batken region, the press service said the Interior Ministry is having the board meeting devoted to the outcomes of operative and investigative work for the first quarter.
"If someone from the Interior Ministry decides to go to the region, we will provide such information," the press service said.
