Covid-19 transmission rate surging in Kyrgyzstan and Health Minister advertises aconite root, MP says

AKIPRESS.COM - Coronavirus transmission rate is growing, while the Minister of Health advertises aconite root, MP Dastan Bekeshev said in Parliament on April 21.
"This situation should be checked. The parliamentary commission should be set up. So many people died. Doctors can't say openly, they fear persecutions," MP Bekeshev said.
The lawmaker suggested establishment of the parliamentary commission comprised of scholars to check where the tincture of aconite root is made.
President Sadyr Japarov said earlier aconite root tincture allows to be cured from coronavirus infection for 2-3 days if treatment begins from the first days of infection. The President attached a video to his Facebook post showing bottles with sign 'aconite root'. Health Minister Beishenaliev confirmed effectiveness and safety of aconite root in treatment of Covid-19. The Health Minister said he drinks aconite root brew himself on a daily basis and drank the brew in front of media representatives at the press conference on April 16.
