Despite agreement on free movement of goods in EAEU, Kyrgyz cargoes still checked in Kazakhstan thoroughly: MP

AKIPRESS.COM - MP Aaly Karashev raised the issue of the movement of goods in the Eurasian Economic Union space on April 15 at a meeting of Parliament. Movement of goods between member countries of the union should be free according to the agreement of EAEU, he reminds.
However, Kyrgyz businessmen complain to the MPs that they still face problems in the territory of Kazakhstan, where they are checked at every step despite a bilateral agreement, he said.
"Why is this agreement not working, why are they checking us again?" he asked.
He added that since Kyrgyzstan is a member of the EAEU, Kyrgyz goods must move freely throughout the EAEU.
