13 teachers, 22 students catch Covid-19 in Bishkek

AKIPRESS.COM - 13 teachers contracted coronavirus infection in Bishkek as of April 8, Education Department Chief Elmira Imanalieva told a press conference on April 9.
22 coronavirus cases were registered among school students.
3,874 students have acute respiratory viral infections.
Nine classes in 6 schools switched to online classes for 14 days after confirmation of coronavirus cases.
"The education system closely works with sanitary and epidemiological authorities, public health department. When coronavirus cases are identified, the list of contacts is passed to the epidemiological department. A mobile team of health workers is dispatched to a particular school for testing. We monitor the situation on a daily basis," Elvira Imanalieva said.
