Interior Ministry officers switched to reinforced work mode ahead of local elections

AKIPRESS.COM - Interior Ministry officers have switched to a reinforced duty regime, said Deputy Head of the Public Security Service of the Interior Ministry Nurlan Ismailov said. Over 5,000 police officers will be on duty on 2,435 polling stations during local elections and referendum on April 11.
More than 11,000 police officers will be working that day.
The Interior Ministry jointly with the CEC held seminars and trainings in the regions on protection of public order and security.
The police do not meddle in the campaigning and electoral processes, he added.
