Uzbekistan starts mass vaccination against Covid-19

AKIPRESS.COM - Mass vaccination against coronavirus infection has started today in Uzbekistan, the Ministry of Health said.
It was announced earlier the country will use Sino-Uzbek vaccine ZF-UZ-VAC2001 and AstraZeneca vaccine.
142,300 people are planned to be vaccinated in 219 vaccination centers in Tashkent, Nukus and regions of the country in April.
People with chronic diseases, school students, preschool children, servicemen, law enforcers will be vaccinated.
3,138 vaccination points were prepared across the country in total. 862 medial teams will be involved into vaccination campaign.
17 refrigerators, 206 trucks and 16 light vehicles were delivered to the regions for transportation of vaccines through COVAX program.
Over 4,000 doctors and more than 11,000 nurses will participate in vaccination.
