Kyrgyzstan to receive Russia's Sputnik-V coronavirus vaccine in May-June

AKIPRESS.COM - Kyrgyzstan will receive Russia's coronavirus vaccine in May-June, Minister of Health and Social Development Alymkadyr Beishenaliev said. The Health Minister said 500,000 doses will arrive.
"At the meeting with the Russian Health Minister I asked Sputnik-V vaccine. He said such issues are decided at the level of Presidents. As you know, President Sadyr Japarov made his first visit to Russia, where coronavirus vaccine was discussed. The agreement was reached on delivery of 500,000 doses. We think the vaccine will arrive before May or June," the Health Minister said.
150,000 doses of China's Sinopharm coronavirus vaccine arrived in Kyrgyzstan. Vaccination will start today.
