Deputy PM Serdar Berdimuhamedov visits hurricane-affected Turkmenabad

AKIPRESS.COM - Deputy Prime Minister and Head of Audit Chamber Serdar Berdimuhamedov visited Turkmenabad on March 22 after hurricane of March 19.
Visit of President Berdimuhamedov's son and several ministers led to growth of food prices, sources told turkmen.news.
The markets were closed in connection with visit of Berdimuhamedov.
State media did not report about hurricane of March 19. The same day Serdar Berdimuhamedov reportedly flew to Mary by helicopter.
Hurricane of March 19 was not that strong like in spring 2020. Many buildings after last year hurricane were repaired poorly and for this reason the wind blew off the roofs again.
Turkmenabad remained without water and electricity supply, Internet connection after hurricane.
