Car imports fell by 28.4% in January in Kyrgyzstan

AKIPRESS.COM - Foreign trade turnover of the Kyrgyz Republic in January 2021 decreased by 27.5% compared to January 2020. Imports decreased by 32.1% from a year earlier and amounted to $254.9 million.
The decrease in overall imports was caused by a 28.4% decrease in the import of motor vehicles and their parts, 24.1% decrease in the import of electrical machinery and equipment, a 17.3-fold decrease in the import of footwear, 1.5 times decrease in the import of wood products and 36.4% decrease in the import of plastic products.
