Uzbekistan to start mass vaccination against Covid-19 after Navruz

AKIPRESS.COM - Vaccination of population against coronavirus infection with AstraZeneca vaccine will start in Uzbekistan after Navruz marked on March 21, the Sanitary and Epidemiological Well-Being and Public Health Service said. 660,000 doses of Covishield vaccine were airlifted from India to Tashkent on March 17 through COVAX program, the Ministry of Health said.
Infrastructure for transportation of vaccines and vaccination of population is ready, the epidemiological authorities said.
Nurses of medical facilities attend 3-day training courses now for vaccination.
