Kyrgyz Education Ministry suggests 20% reduction of tuition fees for universities

AKIPRESS.COM - The Ministry of Education and Science of Kyrgyzstan offered university administrations to reduce tuition fees by 20%, Minister of Education and Science Almazbek Beishenaliev said at the government meeting on March 17. He said universities offer 4% discount now.
Univerisities use tuition to cover salaries of faculty, he said.
Universities do not have other financial sources to cover these expenses, the Minister said.
