Farmers stocked up on fuel and lubricants for 60% so far - government

AKIPRESS.COM - Kyrgyzstan needs 39.1 thousand tons of fuel and lubricants for 2021 spring sowing campaign, government said. Over 60% of that amount is available now. The average price of fuel and lubricants in the south is estimated at 42-45.3 KGS per liter, in the north - 39.9-40.9 KGS per liter.
On January 13, 2021, an agreement on mutual understanding was signed between the Ministry of Agriculture and the Association of Oil Traders of Kyrgyzstan to provide fuel and lubricants to rural producers.
Under the agreement, the Oil Traders Association will make sure stocking up on fuels and lubricants by the oil depots and petrol stations.
Oil depots and gas stations have 23.2 thousand tons of diesel fuel so far.
In general, the situation with the supply of fuel and lubricants in the country is assessed stable, shortage is not expected.
