Kyrgyzstan plans to start vaccination against coronavirus infection in April

AKIPRESS.COM - Vaccination against coronavirus infection is planned since April in Kyrgyzstan, Minister of Health and Social Development Alymkadyr Beishenaliev told AKIpress on March 16.
Russia's Sputnik V or Chinese vaccine will be used for vaccination, the Health Minister said.
Kyrgyzstan has registered Sputnik V coronavirus vaccine. China promised to provide 150,000 doses of vaccine for free.
"Delivery issues are negotiated now. This issue will be resolved in near time. We suspended delivery of AstraZeneca coronavirus vaccine through COVAX program. This is related to legal issues and documents. This does not mean that we refused from vaccine," the Health Minister said.
Health Minister Beishenaliev told Birinchi Radio on February 10 that arrival of 504,000 doses of AstraZeneca vaccines through COVAX program is expected in late February.
