Foreign direct investments in Talas region increased by 1227.5 times in 2020

AKIPRESS.COM - The inflow of foreign direct investment decreased by 55.6% in 2020 compared with 2019 and amounted to $477.6 million, the National Statistics Committee said. The foreign direct investments increased by 1227.5 times in the Talas region in 2020, while in other regions the inflow of investment decreased.
Enterprises of Issyk-Kul region accounted for about 32% of the total foreign direct investments received, Bishkek city - 27%, Chui region - more than 19%, and Jalal-Abad region - more than 13%.
