Emergency sirens to be tested in Bishkek

AKIPRESS.COM - The emergency sirens will be tested in Bishkek on March 10-11, the Ministry of Emergency Situations said.
The move is aimed at checking the readiness of warning systems of the population in case of emergencies. The testing will include interception of TV and radio broadcasting, activation of sound sirens and mass notification system.
Alerting and information system is being restored. Analysis of the current system revealed a number of problems with their readiness and stability of operation.
