Kazakhstan reports 832 new daily coronavirus cases

AKIPRESS.COM - Kazakhstan registered 832 new daily coronavirus cases, 742 daily recoveries and 8 deaths for the past day.
The total number of confirmed coronavirus cases since pandemic outbreak reached 217,299 cases, the Ministry of Health said.
New cases included 136 in Nur-Sultan, 135 in Almaty, 75 in Pavlodar region, 69 in West Kazakhstan region, 59 in Akmola region, 57 in Kostanai region, 51 in Almaty region, 50 in East Kazakhstan region, 44 in Atyrau region, 40 in Karaganda region, 35 in Aktobe region, 28 in North Kazakhstan region, 19 in Jambyl region, 13 in Shymkent, 9 in Turkestan region, 7 in Mangistau region, 5 in Kyzylorda region.
The total number of recoveries reached 201,182. The death toll from coronavirus infection made 2,799.
42 new coronavirus pneumonia cases were registered for a day. 215 patients recovered from coronavirus pneumonia, 2 died.
The total number of coronavirus pneumonia cases since August 1 made 49,504. Some 43,396 recovered from coronavirus pneumonia, 637 died.
18,789 remain in hospitals. 226 of them are in serious condition, 56 are in critical condition.
The Ministry of Health of Kazakhstan counts coronavirus cases since August 1, 2020, but does not include these case into the country's tally of COVID-19 cases.
