Production of Russia's coronavirus vaccine Sputnik-V in Uzbekistan under consideration

AKIPRESS.COM - Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said possibility of production of Russia's coronavirus vaccine Sputnik-V in Uzbekistan is considered.
"Mass vaccination of population will begin in Uzbekistan in next few days. Production of the Sputnik-V in Uzbekistan is considered. It was registered there in accelerated manner. We value our cooperation in this area," Foreign Minister Lavrov told a press conference following the talks with Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov.
First Deputy Minister of Innovative Development, Director of Advanced Technologies Center Shakhlo Turdikulova said Uzbekistan plans to use two vaccines for mass vaccination - Russia's Sputnik-V and Chinese-Uzbek vaccine ZF-UZ-VAC 2001.
