Rosatom Corporation to ask funding from Russian government for reclamation of uranium tailings in Kyrgyzstan

AKIPRESS.COM - Minister of Emergency Situations Boobek Ajikeyev said the meeting was held with representatives of the State Atomi? Energy Corporation Rosatom on February 17.
"Rosatom provides a good support to us in isolation of the uranium tailings in Min-Kush, Kaji-Sai," the Minister said.
"The work plans for 2021-2022 were discussed," he added.
Rosatom representatives said they will ask funding of 1.3 billion rubles from the Russian government to carry out necessary work on reclamation of uranium tailings.
