Uzbekistan exports 13,000 tons of clothing to Kazakhstan

AKIPRESS.COM - Uzbekistan exported 13,000 tons of clothing to Kazakhstan for $20.8 million in 2020. This is 30.4% increase year-on-year. Uzbekistan became the second biggest exporter of clothing to Kazakhstan after China followed by Russia.
Kazakhstan imported 77,200 tons of clothing in 2020, LS reported.
This is 27.2% increased compared to 2019. The value of imported clothing amounted to $626.3 million, which is 9.6% less than a year before.
China exported 44,600 tons of clothing for $194.5 million to Kazakhstan.
Russia exported 10,100 tons of clothing to Kazakhstan for $182.8 million.
Turkey exported 5,500 tons of clothing to Kazakhstan for $114.3 million.
Bangladesh exported 1,100 tons of clothing to Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan exported 894 tons, Belarus supplied 393.1 tons.
