President Mirziyoyev to address UN Human Rights Council

AKIPRESS.COM - President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev will participate in the high-level segment of the 46th session of the United Nations Human Rights Council on February 22, the president's press service reported.
In his virtual address President Mirziyoyev will talk about priorities of deepening of democratic transformations in the country and main areas of work on improvement of human rights situation.
The event will be attended by UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres, UN Commissioner for Human Rights Michelle Bachelet, heads of state, government, Foreign Ministers and High Representatives from around 150 countries.
