National Security Committee chief comments on Matraimov's trial

AKIPRESS.COM - Chairman of the State National Security Committee of the Kyrgyz Republic Kamchybek Tashiev answered journalists' questions about Raimbek Matraimov after the meeting with Batken residents on Feb 18. "I heard about Matraimov's trial when I was far away from here. I heard that the court removed arrest on his bank accounts and property. Today I'll be dealing with this case, will look into the documents. I think that I will start taking measures on Matraimov tomorrow," Tashiev said.
Tashiev has been on sick leave since February 6. On Feb 13, he had a heart surgery in Germany.
On February 11, the Pervomai district court of Bishkek found guilty Matraimov of corruption and fined him for 260,000 soms and removed arrest from his properties after he plea-bargained with the investigation.
