AKIPRESS.COM - Prime Minister Ulukbek Maripov suggested revision of the current legislation on fight against domestic violence.
"Any facts of violence are crimes against fundamental human rights," the Prime Minister said at the board meeting in the Ministry of Internal Affairs today.
"This violence is inadmissible in the civilized society. Each fact of violence, including domestic violence, should not remain beyond attention of law enforcement agencies," the Prime Minister said.
"Domestic violence should not be seen as a private matter of a family. Such facts should not be silenced. Society should develop a high level of intolerance of such facts," the Prime Minister stated.
