Kyrgyzstan plans mass vaccination against COVID-19 since March

AKIPRESS.COM - Vaccination against coronavirus infection has not started yet, Public Health Department Director Ainura Akmatova said.
The doses of vaccines are negotiated, she said.
Vaccination is planned to start since March and will be carried out in 3 stages, she added.
"The first stage of vaccination will iclude medical workers and teachers. Vaccination is a new process and it will be voluntary. No one will be required to get shots. Teachers will be vaccinated for free," she said at the meeting with principals of schools of Bishkek today.
"We will also study immunity status of teachers: how many of them contracted coronavirus infection and recovered or are ill now," she added.
