Dushanbe to host 9th Ministerial Conference of Heart of Asia-Instabul Process

AKIPRESS.COM - President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon held phone talks with President of Afghanistan Ashraf Ghani.
A special attention was paid to intra-Afghan reconciliation process and finding effective ways to bring peace and stability to Afghanistan.
Rahmon underscored that Tajikistan always supported the government of Afghanistan in its continuous efforts on reconstruction of peace, stability, reforms and will not change this position in future.
The Presidents vowed to further strengthen and expand mutually beneficial bilateral relations in different areas, exchanged views on cooperation in security, discuss current cooperation on Tajik-Afghan border, counteraction to terrorism, extremism, illicit drug trafficking.
The Presidents reached agreement that the the 9th Ministerial Conference of Heart of Asia-Instabul Process will be held in late March 2021 in Dushanbe under chairmanship of Tajikistan and Afghanistan.
