Council of Ulemmas accepts resignation of Mufti of Kyrgyzstan

AKIPRESS.COM - The Council of Ulemmas accepted resignation of Mufti Maksatbek Toktomushev.
Maksatbek Toktomushev stepped down as Mufti of Kyrgyzstan on February 10 after the scandal with misuse of money of pilgrims.
He was taken into custody the same day and then released from custody and placed under house arrest in the night of February 12.
