Assembly of Muslims of Kyrgyzstan to convene on Apr 5

AKIPRESS.COM - The seventn kurultay [assembly] of Muslims of Kyrgyzstan was set for April 5.
Such decision was made by the Council of Ulemmas, Mufti's press office said.
The assembly is convened every 4 years. The delegates will approve the Mufti, Council of Ulemmas and chairman of the audit commission through open voting.
The Mufti of Kyrgyzstan resigned on February 10 after financial violations with abuse of money of pilgrims were disclosed.
