Kyrgyz Health Ministry plans to provide pay increase to medical workers upon optimization

AKIPRESS.COM - The Ministry of Health and Social Development plans to increase salaries for medical workers upon optimization, Minister Alymkadyr Beishenaliev said.
He reminded about the executive order signed by President Sadyr Japarov endorsing changes in the health care system.
"One of the main measures is increase of salaries for doctors. We offered three options of pay increase to the government. I think upon optimization we will save some budget that will be directed for increase of salaries of medical workers," the Minister said.
The order also required provision of mortgage loans to medics, the Minister added.
Young specialists working in the regions will be provided incentives and free dwelling, he said.
