Tajikistan asks Russia to consider possible restart of regular flights

AKIPRESS.COM - Russia and Tajikistan held the 17th meeting of the intergovernmental commission for economic cooperation on February 8-9 in Moscow, the Foreign Ministry of Tajikistan said.
The delegation of Tajikistan was led by Prime Minister Kohir Rasulzoda. The delegation of Russia was led by Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Alexey Overchuk.
The countries considered a range of issues of bilateral cooperation in political, economic, commercial, investment, cultural, humanitarian and other spheres.
The sides agreed to undertake necessary actions for expansion of bilateral economic ties, industrial cooperation.
Russia was invited to launch joitn ventures in Tajikistan.
The countries also agreed to increase the volume of cargo transportation.
Russia was asked to consider possibility of restart of regular flights in view of improved COVID-19 situation in Tajikistan.
