Uzbekistan to hold presidential elections on Oct 24

AKIPRESS.COM - President Shavkat Mirziyoyev has sighned the law with constitutional amendments on the date of presidential elections, amendments to the Election Code, law on financing of parties on February 8.
The amendments were passed by the Legislative Chamber on January 29 and by the Senate on February 5.
Thus, the presidential election is moved from the first Sunday of the third decade of December to the first Sunday of the third decade of October.
This year, Uzbekistan will hold the presidential election on October 24.
