State Registration Service issues 2 millionth internal passport of Kyrgyzstan

AKIPRESS.COM - Two millionth ID card (internal passport) was issued in Kyrgyzstan.
The 2 millionth ID card holder, Bektur Alibaev, received his first ever passport and gifts from State Registration Service Vice Chairman Tilek Batyrkanov.
Electronic ID cards are issued in Kyrgyzstan since May 2017.
The project was launched in cooperation with Korea International Cooperation Agency.
KOICA developed software for ID card administration, provided servers and 1.9 million blanks.
The millionth ID card was handed on January 14, 2019.
