High-speed railway to link Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan

AKIPRESS.COM - Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Askar Mamin announced about the plan of construction of a high-speed railway to link Turkestan and Tashkent.
This project will allow to create 22,000 new work places in tourism sector and 100,000 new work places in related economic sectors.
The internal tourist flow will make around 4.5 million people, he said.
Tourism share in GDP will be increased to 5.2%, he added.
