President Mirziyoyev tasks General Prosecutor of Uzbekistan to make list of corrupt persons

AKIPRESS.COM - President Shavkat Mirziyoyev instructed General Prosecutor of Uzbekistan Nigmatilla Yuldashev to disclose reasons of corruption in each district of Uzbekistan, Kun.uz reported.
"General Prosecutor Nigmatilla Yuldashev will hold a meeting of the national anti-corruption council in a month. He will make diagnosis for every district for this time," President Mirziyoyev said.
The General Prosecutor will find out reasons and those behind corruption, he said.
"Corruption is everywhere. This should be stopped. We need to feed 35 million population," Mirziyoyev stated.
The President said the General Prosecutor will make a list of corrupt persons.
"Corruption is widely spread. If we had modernized the energy system for 30 years, we would not have problems with gas and electricity shortages," the President said.
