Women account for 30% of managers in small companies and 43.5% of heads of medium companies

AKIPRESS.COM - Women account for 30% and 43.5% of managers of small and medium enterprises respectively, according to the draft program to support and develop women's entrepreneurship in Kyrgyzstan for 2021-2025 developed by the Ministry of Economy. Women account for 35% of individual entrepreneurs and 19.6% of heads of farms.
If the number of men employed as individual entrepreneurs over the last 10 years has increased by almost 100 thousand, the number of women entrepreneurs has not changed.
