SCO national coordinators meet in Dushanbe

AKIPRESS.COM - The meeting of the council of national coordinators of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization member states was held in Dushanbe, Khovar news agency reported. The attendees of the meeting reviewed preparations for the upcoming SCO summit, SCO Foreign Ministers Council, other events at ministerial and expert levels on the first day of event.
The views were exchanged on draft of agenda, list of documents that will be signed at the SCO Summit and SCO Ministerial Meeting.
National coordinators also discussed the draft plan of main events for 2021 and program of cooperation betweent he Foreign Ministries of SCO countries for 2021.
The council of national coordinators coordinates current activities of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization and provides for interaction between respective ministries and agenies of the participating countries.
Tajikistan took over chairmanship of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization at the SCO Summit on 10 November 2020.
