International reserves of Uzbekistan grow for $2 billion in a month

AKIPRESS.COM - International reserves of Uzbekistan amounted to $34.9 billion as of January 1, having grown for $2 billion for a month.
As of December 1, 2020, international reserves made $32.8 billion.
The international reserves keep growing since the beginning of this year after decrease for the last 4 months, review.uzrreported.
The gold reserves amounted to $20.21 billion. Foreign currency reserves totaled $14.03 billion (versus $14.04 billion last month).
Experts explained growth of foreign currency reserves and reduction of the net volume of gold reserves with singificant of global gold prices in 8 months of 2020, which led to increase of value of gold reserves. Reduction of the net gold volume for 37 tons does not mean reduction of gold and foreign currency reserves of Uzbekistan.
