Families of 32 doctors who died from COVID-19 received 1 million soms compensations each

AKIPRESS.COM - Families of 32 doctors, who died from coronavirus infection, received 1 million soms compensations each as of January 1, Health Minister Alymkadyr Beishenaliev said.
1,137 medical workers, who contracted coronavirus infection at work, received 200,000 soms compensations each, he said.
"237 medical workers will get 200,000 soms compensations. The compensation applications of 1,200 medical workers were turned down," he said.
The sizes of compensations are changed since January 11: medical workers will be paid 75,000 soms compensations in case they catch coronavirus infection while performing their duties at work, the Health Minister said.
