Main New Year tree of Issyk-Kul collapses

AKIPRESS.COM - The main New Year's tree on the central square of Karakol collapsed due to strong wind, said the mayor's office of the town.
Installation of the New Year's tree at the central square began on November 30 and completed on December 20.
The height of the tree is 21 meters. In 2017, 1 million soms were spent on the tree.
The mayor's office added that they planned to start dismantling the tree on January 14.
